Interactive dataset and dashboard developed to address limitations in access, comparability and analysis of APEC projects data.

  • Builds a structured dataset of APEC projects using Python for web scraping and data processing.
  • Uses R, Quarto, and Shiny to create an interactive dashboard for project-level exploration.
  • Enables filtering by year, economy, forum, topic, funding source, project status, and other variables.
  • Runs through an automated GitHub Actions workflow that updates the dataset and redeploys the dashboard daily.
  • Supports analysis of project distribution, funding patterns, and activity trends across APEC.

The dashboard allows for the analysis of APEC project activity and funding patterns.
